SIGHT PERMISSION
Guess who else has a single magic eye, wooo...
Sorawo's eye has been mutated by contact with otherworldly creatures, which causes her eye to have an affect on the things she focuses her gaze upon with it, as well as gives her some insight when looking at things. This is super vaguely worded because the collection of utilities is kind of weird, so bear with me here. I'll split the things to know into two categories: seeing (i.e. her ability to view things) vs. effect (situations where her gaze actually causes something to happen). Please let me know which of these you are comfortable/uncomfortable with and if there's anything she might pick up!
Seeing:
-She is able to see if an object/area is affected by something that, broadly put, is otherworldly/does not conform to physics in some way. This manifests as a silver haze that indicates something is up but not what is up. A metal coin from another world would look normal to her, but a metal coin from any place that changes faces when flipped would have the haze. Magic or powers would also have a haze even if it's invisible, assuming she's actually focusing her gaze to see it. Sorawo will probably only use this on objects or during combat.
-She can see different aspects to objects and creatures by switching her mental perspective on it. She can technically go through as many layers as exist but she might not think to keep diving too far if there's just Endless Layers to your character/whatever. Example: an eldritch being that appears as a tall woman to humans, with a hidden physical form made of rods, and a metaphorical form made of giant flowers. Sorawo probably won't check this on player characters unless she's given a reason to.
Effect:
-She is able to drive people lightly insane if she focuses on them with her right eye! This state is somewhat like having one's mental restraints lifted as well; if a character believes that socially they shouldn't cause a huge ruckus, that restraint will feel like it no longer matters to them and they can now be a horrible gremlin as they please. They're so strong and powerful and gleeful, everything is great!! The effect fades when she stops focusing on them with her eye. Sorawo will only use this sparingly if she thinks someone on her side would get a combat boost out of it, but it IS an objective as well.
-She can capture things in her gaze, which makes it easier for her allies to hit except in extreme cases. It doesn't stop the captured object from continuing to move/fight/maim people, it just makes it more likely that attacks will find their mark, such as projectiles. This is almost exclusively for monsters/ethereal beings but it might come up in a combat situation idk.
Copy the below code and let me know which of these you're cool with! You can fill it out as many times as necessary if you have multiple characters.

Seeing - alternate aspects: Also totally fine! I don't know the extent to which it would count as layers to her, but she is a physical person that was born to be a vessel for an eldritch god which did not like, super work in a way that was good for all parties involved but there is a connection still, however tenuous.
Effect - Insanity: Go for it!
Effect - Capture: Go for it!

Seeing - alternate aspects: Yes but I don't think there'd be a ton to see in this case.
Effect - Insanity: Yes
Effect - Capture: Yes

Seeing - alternate aspects: Yes. there's two, PM me for like, details.
Effect - Insanity: Yes

Seeing - alternate aspects: I don't know if there's really layers here per se, because what you see is largely what you get, but also she shapeshifts herself a lot so there's that. (Her eyes always give her away, also.)
I feel like Sorawo would be able to tell specifically that Jasmine's own Eye Nonsense is the result of a weird existential glitch that just remaps what you'd see in the space where her eyes would be to some region in the starry void? She also just like, warps reality around herself in a very specific way.
Effect - Insanity: [ looks at my hands ] what happens if your character is already like. in that mode. what if the nature of reality or lack thereof has already driven her insa
Effect - Capture: 👍

Seeing - silver haze: She'll be able to see a haze on any of his orbal powered stuff! Which at this time is just his actual orbment. Though he only de-inventories that during combat, pretty much, so how you wanna handle it being inventoried is up for discussion! He is otherwise a normie.
Seeing - alternate aspects: IF THE LAYERS ARE STRICTLY SUPERNATURAL he ain't got shit.
Effect - Insanity: Go for it.
Effect - Capture: Go for it.

Seeing - alternate aspects: THE RAT LAYER IS GONE
Effect - Insanity: Yes

Seeing - alternate aspects: yes. there's just the Aki layer (human onmyouji) and the Kuro layer (tengu) which are slightly merged anyway
Effect - Insanity: I actually would like to talk this out further if it comes up because it is something Aki specifically has some capacity to defend against (even if applied to Kuro)
Effect - Capture: potentially Aki might have some resistance to this also, but unlike the insanity effect, if this was used on them while Kuro is in control it would 100% work just fine

Seeing - alternate aspects: She can see them, though I assume she would see two separate ones since he's possessed. Ones that belong to Kasa and ones that belong to Nao. I'm not sure what to put for layers. Kasa is rather up-front, studious, believes in chivalry, and tends to look on the positive side of things. He does have some sadness and guilt lingering heavily tho too.
Nao is full of hatred. I'm not sure there are many layers there. But anger, hatred, sadness, fear, pain... negative emotions in general, as they are the emotions he was formed from.
Effect - Insanity: Sure! Nao is already feral tho...
Effect - Capture: Yep! That's fine!
